Games Design
Qantm College recognises the fast pace of the interactive entertainment industry and strives to train students to step outside the mould in order to create effective games for a diverse marketplace. Throughout this course students complement their design skills with extensive practical and theoretical work. The scope of study includes scripting, testing, prototyping, psychology, philosophy, character design, level building, vehicular design and narrative to name only a few.

Games Programming
The Qantm College games programming course has been developed to satisfy the increasing demand for graduates with the skills to focus on the specialist needs of the interactive entertainment industry. Students are introduced to key concepts and methodologies in order to aid the design of effective levels for a variety of different game types. These practical areas of study culminate in the fabrication of several fully playable games throughout the course. Qantm College has strong alliances with some of Australia’s and the world’s leading games companies including THQ, Pandemic, Krome and Halfbrick.

Digital Video Production
As the phrase suggests ‘lights, camera and action’ are fundamental components for any video production. During the Qantm College digital video production course, students learn the basics of lighting and video equipment, while gaining extensive hands-on experience with industry standard equipment in a variety of conditions. Students also learn how to plan a production correctly in order to make it stand out from others, while developing storylines, treatments and storyboards.
